Moreno Valley Shooting Leaves Six Teenagers Injured and Hospitalized

Several people were shot in Moreno Valley, and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department has stated that an investigation is currently being conducted into the incident.

On Saturday evening, just before 11 o’clock, the shooting was reported to have occurred on the 12100 block of Orchid Lane. Multiple individuals reported hearing a gunshot, prompting law enforcement to respond to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon that had occurred in the vicinity.

When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered five people who were suffering from gunshot wounds. After receiving medical attention at the scene, those individuals were transported to a hospital, where they were all in critical condition.

Officers determined that a sixth person who had been shot was connected to the same shooting after they arrived at the hospital where the victim was being treated. Neither the extent nor the severity of that individual’s injuries were disclosed.

It was determined that all of the victims of the shooting were between the ages of 14 and 18, according to the officials.

What precipitated the violent act is not entirely clear. According to the sheriff’s department, there have been no arrests made in connection with the shooting that took place.
