Motorcyclist Dies in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Everett; Traffic Delays Last for Hours

Following the fatal crash that occurred on Evergreen Way on Thursday afternoon, the roadway was shut down in both directions. The accident included two automobiles and a motorcycle.

Approximately 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Everett police and firemen responded to reports of an accident that involved two cars and a motorcycle in the 10300 block of Evergreen Way. The collision was said to have occurred in the area.

During the accident, a man in his forties was ejected off his motorcycle. Natalie Given, a representative for the Everett police department, stated that despite the attempts of first responders to save his life, he was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.

There was a truck that was involved in the accident, and it was pulling a boat trailer. The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the investigation. The other vehicle, a hatchback, was driven by a man who had injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening. He was sent to the hospital.

During the time that the Traffic Safety Unit of the Everett Police Department investigated the crash, Evergreen Way was closed to traffic for a number of hours. In the vicinity of 3:40 p.m., the route was back open.
