The reports of a person being shot on Tilton Street in New Haven early on Sunday morning have prompted the opening of a homicide inquiry.
At the intersection of Tilton Street and Mansfield Street, the police discovered a male from Stratford who was 18 years old. The young male was discovered lying on the sidewalk, as stated by the New Hampshire Police Department.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots early on Sunday morning, according to neighbors. After being transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital, the man reportedly succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving there, according to the police.
