The authorities stated that on Saturday, May 31, a guy who was riding a horse assisted police in Riverside Township in capturing a driver who had hit and fled the scene of an accident.
Middleton Street was the location where authorities were dispatched that morning, according to the Riverside Police Department, after a woman reported hearing a loud crash and saw a vehicle driving away after hitting her parked car.
According to the police, it is when PJ and Shiny, his horse, arrived at the scene.
According to the police, PJ conveyed to the woman that he had watched a gray Honda Accord collide with her vehicle and then drive away. After riding after the vehicle, PJ and Shiny were able to get close enough to it to obtain a portion of the license plate number, which Shiny then relayed to the authorities.
PJ told the police that he had simply ridden into town to show off his horse until he realized that the people of the town needed his assistance. This is the kind of story that any good hero in a Western movie would tell.
Italo Lalvay Guaillasaca, who is 22 years old, was apprehended by the police after they were able to identify the culprit due to the information provided by PJ and Shiny. It was reported by the police that Guaillasaca was charged with driving recklessly, driving without a license, failing to report an accident, and fleeing the scene of an accident.
“We would like to express our gratitude to PJ and his sidekick “Shiny” for their tireless efforts in obtaining the information that ultimately led to the resolution of the case,” the police said.
