One Dead, Three Injured in Pacific Beach Vehicle Crash on Wednesday Night

A two-vehicle collision that occurred in Pacific Beach on Wednesday evening resulted in the death of one individual and the injury of three others, according to the authorities.

As stated by the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the collision was reported to have occurred on Grand Avenue close to Mission Bay Drive at approximately ten minutes before ten o’clock.

An individual who was driving a Chevrolet Corvette from 2013 and was traveling southbound on Mission Bay Drive when he ran a red light and collided with a Jeep Cherokee from 2018 that was making a turn onto Grand Avenue, according to the San Diego Police Department.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a female passenger in the Corvette passed away at the scene of the accident. The identify of the woman has not been disclosed.

Two individuals in the Jeep and the driver of the Corvette were reportedly hurt, according to the police.

According to the San Diego Police Department, it is believed that either alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
