An accident that occurred on Thursday evening in the northwest suburb of East Dundee resulted in the death of one person, according to the authorities.
According to a press statement issued by the East Dundee Fire District, the collision was reported to have occurred in the 1300 block of East Main Street at approximately 6:21 p.m. According to officials from the fire department, the collision included two automobiles, and one of them incurred significant damage.
An individual was found dead at the location.
If there were any further injuries that were reported, it was not immediately known either.
On Thursday evening, the East Dundee Police Department continued their investigation into the crash that had occurred earlier.
