One Person Killed, Another Seriously Hurt in South Kansas City Crash

Two cars crashed on Blue Ridge Boulevard and Eastern Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday afternoon. One person died and the other is seriously hurt.

Just after 4:40 p.m., police were called to a crash that killed someone.

A basic investigation showed that a green Subaru Forester was going north on Eastern and a silver Dodge Dakota was going south on Blue Ridge.

The Subaru then came through the crossing and hit the Dodge on the left side.

The crash turned the Dodge around and it hit the curb and a metal light pole before flipping over.

The Dodge driver was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries and is still there in critical condition.

The person in the front seat of the Dodge was declared dead at the scene of the accident.

There were no safety belts on either the driver or the passenger of the Dodge.

The Subaru’s driver and a child riding in the back seat were not hurt in the crash.
