Over 300 Arrested in California ICE Raid at Cannabis Farm; Child Predator Found Among Detainees

Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were able to seize more than three hundred illegal immigrants from a cannabis farm located in Ventura County. This was one of the greatest workplace raids in the recent history of the state of California. It has been established by the authorities that one of the individuals who was arrested was a convicted child predator.

319 Arrests, 14 Children Rescued from Potential Exploitation

Kristi Noem, the Secretary of the United States Department of Homeland Security, has verified, using X (which was formerly known as Twitter), that 319 unauthorized aliens were taken into custody from Glass House Farms. A total of fourteen children who were believed to be at risk of being exploited, trafficked, or forced to work were rescued by the authorities.

“Law enforcement was able to rescue fourteen children from the possibility of being forced to work,” Noem posted. “We are completely dedicated to putting an end to the exploitation of children.”

Convicted Felon Found Working Near Minors

One of the individuals being held in custody had a history of violent criminal activity, which included attempted rape, kidnapping, and any number of other violent crimes. Rodney Scott, the Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, posted a picture of the convicted felon on social media with the following caption:

This illegal alien had served seven years in prison for kidnapping and attempted rape, and he was working with approximately ten children, one of whom was only fourteen years old.

The Cannabis Farm Is Being Reviewed by the Law

The federal government is currently conducting an investigation into Glass House Farms, the location of the raid, for alleged violations of child labor laws. Graham Farrar, one of the co-founders of the company, is said to have a history of making political payments to candidates running for both the Democratic and Republican parties, including Gavin Newsom, the governor of California.

Violent resistance is encountered by ICE agents.

It was not without conflict that the raid took place. The protesters threw rocks and stones at the ICE agents, which led to a confrontation. Someone is said to have shot a firearm during the demonstration, which prompted law enforcement to use tear gas in order to separate the gathering.

In the midst of the chaos, a farm worker tragically lost their life after falling from a greenhouse structure that was thirty feet tall.

Trump Reacts, Grants ICE Full Protection Rights

Trump, who had previously served as President of the United States, issued a statement on Truth Social in which he harshly condemned the violent demonstrations and granted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) complete authority to defend themselves in future operations.

Never again would I want to witness an assault on a vehicle that was transporting a law enforcement officer! According to what Trump wrote, “authorization for arrest and incarceration may be granted immediately.”

Investigation Already Underway

Authorities from the federal government are continuing their investigation of Glass House Farms as well as the backgrounds of all 319 inmates. It has been emphasized by the authorities that additional arrests and charges may be expected.
