Missouri’s Kansas City — An accident that occurred on Interstate 35 on Saturday evening resulted in the death of a woman who was 46 years old.
The woman was walking when she entered the southbound lane and was struck by a Ford Explorer, according to the crash reports filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
It was approximately 11:15 p.m. when the woman, who was from Independence, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It was necessary to have the Ford towed away from the site since, according to the MSHP, it had considerable damage. As to the report, the individual who was operating the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
