Police Investigate Killing of Fitness Mom and Business Partner by Estranged Husband

According to members of the family, a fitness influencer mother and her business partner were killed by her estranged husband outside of a restaurant in Southern California where they had met to discuss an upcoming project. The business partner was also shot and killed by the husband.

They were shot and killed in the parking lot of the strip mall sushi restaurant in the community of Fontana, which is located in San Bernardino county, according to family members who spoke out on Tuesday. Gloria Zamora, who was 40 years old, and her husband, Hector Garduno, who was 43 years old, were having a meeting about a new project on Sunday night. According to the police, the suspect, who was identified as her husband who had been estranged from her, was shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy who was off-duty and heard the gunfire.

At the hospital, both Zamora and Garduno passed away.

The fitness instructor amassed a sizeable social media following, with 155,000 followers on Instagram and 85,000 followers on TikTok. On TikTok, she posted videos that offered fitness advice to other mothers. She was described by members of her family as someone who put in a lot of effort, was devoted to her family, and had ambitious goals for the future.

“I miss my mom so much,” Jazlynne Zamora, who is 24 years old, said the daughter. During the Saturday, nobody saw her. Because she had a business meeting, she was absent. The two of them were going to open a gym for women, and she met her business partner while she was doing a photo shoot during that time.

As of right now, all I can do is wait for her to enter through the door and then come in laughing. It’s just so difficult to do.”

A post that Jazlynne Zamora made for the purpose of fundraising referred to her mother as a “light in her community.”

According to Jazlynne Zamora, “My mother was more than just a mother; she was a light in her community.” this is what she said. She encouraged and motivated a great number of women, bringing to their attention their value, their power, and the possibilities that lie ahead of them. She was a firm believer in the phrase “Women can do anything they set their minds to,” and she lived her life in accordance with those words. She left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone who knew her through her bravery, kindness, and determination.

According to the police, it was not immediately clear how the shooter would have known that Zamora was at the location of the strip mall.

During her ‘HERizon’ podcast, Zamora made a reference to her relationship during the previous few days. According to Jazlynne Zamora, the three of them had been together for more than fifteen years.

“He was always very abusive to my mom,” Jazlynne said about her step-father and her relationship with him. “Up until Saturday, both mentally and physically, as well as emotionally, have been abusive. Every single day, my mother and I would get into a fight, an argument, and a problem.

According to member of Garduno’s family, he is the father of four daughters.

“He was a loving, devoted, and hardworking man that was tragically murdered and gone too soon,” people from his family said in a post that was made for the purpose of raising money. The man lived his life with courage and did everything in his power to provide for his family, which included his four daughters. Because of his passing, we have been left with a void in our lives and a hole in our hearts that will never be restored.
