Poughkeepsie Apartment Raided by Drug Task Force in Early Morning Operation

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force searched the apartment of a person they thought was dealing drugs on Wednesday morning. This got the attention of many people in the complex who live nearby. Task force officers searched the Corlies Manor apartment on Muldowney Circle in Poughkepsie just before 8 a.m. on June 18. They did this because they were looking into drug sales in the apartment complex and the nearby Pershing Avenue Park.

Task force officers were able to get a search warrant for the woman’s apartment because of the investigation. They went there Wednesday morning to stop the illegal drug operation.

Adam Harris, a detective sergeant with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and coordinator of the Drug Task Force, told Mid-Hudson News that illegal drugs were found and a suspect was arrested during the raid. He also said that more information would be given later.

Police from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office road patrol and the SWAT team helped the task force with the search.
