During the early hours of Thursday morning, the California Highway Patrol received a report of a collision in Roseville that involved three vehicles.
Around 8:35 in the morning, officers from the California Highway Patrol were sent to the eastbound lanes of Interstate 80, which are located just west of Douglas Boulevard. As emergency crews arrived at the scene of the accident to assess the situation and clear the roadway, traffic was slowed down during the time that they were there.
There is still a lack of clarity regarding the precise cause of the collision, and the authorities have not yet determined whether the situation was caused by the weather, the road conditions, or the driver’s error. Although there has been no confirmation of any major trauma, initial reports suggest that there may have been some minor injuries sustained.
While crews worked to move the vehicles and ensure the safety of those involved, motorists in the area experienced delays as a result of the situation.
