by A two-vehicle collision that occurred in the Rosemont neighborhood on the evening of Sunday, June 15, 2025, resulted in the death of one woman and the injury of two others.
South Watt Avenue and Kiefer Boulevard were the locations where the accident took place, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), which reported that it occurred at approximately 6:00 PM.
According to the authorities, a Lexus and an Infiniti collided at the intersection after one of the vehicles allegedly ran a red light. However, it is still unknown which driver was at fault for the collision.
Following the accident, the woman who was driving the Infiniti sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she ultimately passed away. Her vehicle was involved in an accident that resulted in moderate injuries to a male passenger and minor injuries to a juvenile passenger. There was no injury sustained by the driver of the Lexus.
At this point, the investigators have not determined whether or not alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. This incident is still being looked into by authorities.
