San Francisco Bar Incident: Man Stabbed in Neck, Recovering in Hospital

After being attacked and stabbed in the neck at a local bar, a man in San Francisco is currently recovering in the hospital. According to his friends, the incident occurred at the bar.

In Lower Pacific Heights, on Divisadero Street, the Fishbowl Bar and Grill was the location where the incident took place on Monday.

It was that evening at The Snug on Fillmore Street, where TJ was employed, that Tim Plump had just met TJ for the first time. Following that, Plump stated that he made the decision to accompany TJ to Fishbowl, where they were able to meet up with one of TJ’s friends.

At one point, Plump stated that he went to the restroom and heard a commotion going on upstairs.

“We head back and check what it was, so we walk back, and the next thing I see is TJ with a horrified look on his face with blood gushing from his neck saying, ‘Oh my gosh, he stabbed me in the neck,’ it was a look of fear,” Plump said. “It was a look of terror.”

According to him, he called 911 and assisted TJ in sitting down.

“I applied pressure to the wound, and really all I did was try to keep him talking so that he would remain awake until the paramedics arrived a few minutes later,” he said.

Christine is a resident of the area, and she reported hearing the sirens.

“When I looked out my window, I thought to myself, ‘That’s a lot of police officers,'” she said. “I was thinking that it sounded like it was right out the door.” I’ve never heard of anything that could be considered so violent taking place there.

One of the employees working inside Fishbowl Bar and Grill stated that they did not observe any argument prior to the stabbing.

Patrick Hamer, 42 years old, a resident of San Francisco, was identified as the suspect by the police, according to the investigators. On Thursday of last week, he was taken into custody and booked into the San Francisco County Jail on charges of attempted murder.

TJ is currently recuperating at the hospital, according to friends who have established a GoFundMe account for him. On Friday, Plump received a note from him.

“He is in surprisingly good spirits all things considered, he is a trooper, it’s incredible, it’s a horrifying experience, and he’s going to be okay, it’s really amazing,” Plump said. “He is a trooper.” Considering that he is a really good guy, I made the decision to hang out with him that night because it is obvious that he is one of the kindest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to the police, despite the fact that an arrest has been made. Anyone who may have information is urged to contact the San Francisco Police Department.
