SNAP payment amounts for 5 in Hawaii & Alaska
Make sure you check the maximum SNAP payment amounts for the year 5 if you are a resident of either of these two states. The state of Alaska will, without a shadow of a doubt, have the highest maximum payment for those who receive Food Stamps.
In Alaska, a person who receives Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can receive up to $586, while in the 48 contiguous states, the maximum amount that they can receive is $292. Up to $1,494 for five, up to $1,905 for three, or up to $2,319 for five is the maximum amount. A citizen of Alaska who resides in an urban area is eligible for the lowest possible maximum compensation. Larger payments are made to either Rural Area 1 or Rural Area 2, respectively.
It is possible for families with five members who reside in Hawaii to receive up to $2,046. When compared to the maximum amounts that are allowed in the other state, even if it is a lower maximum amount than what is allowed in Alaska, it is still a significant amount of money.
