South Monterey County Boat Crash: 17-Year-Old Injured, 50-Year-Old Dead in Tragic Accident

The death of a guy from North Hills was the result of an accident involving a speedboat that occurred at Lake San Antonio in South Monterey County. This has been the second deadly boating event that has occurred in the region this week.

Mary Sullivan-White, a witness, expressed her sorrow by saying, “I am so sorry for the family and the families that are involved and the friends that are involved with that person.” For example, the boating community is quite close-knit when it comes to providing assistance to one another. On top of that, to witness that happening there in front of us, the service, and everyone else.”

The footage from the drone showed other boaters rushing to the scene to help the injured individuals, who were reported as being both an adult and a youngster.

The boat was moving between 30 and 60 miles per hour when it attempted to make a maneuver, collided with a wake, and flipped over many times, as stated by the park guards.

Although the kid experienced relatively minor injuries, the adult, John Alexander, who is 62 years old, may have been subjected to substantial trauma.

On a hot day at the lake, the catastrophe occurred in front of a large number of people who were enjoying themselves.

“We were all in a state of shock. We had all been taken aback. And in point of fact, the individuals who are located to the left of us have jumped on their boat in order to go out there and assist. In spite of this, everyone was taken aback because the day had been so pleasant. In addition, you should know that we are able to be out and we are able to be out there, but it was just shock,” added another witness.
