In St. Johns County, a collision involving an electric dirt bike resulted in significant injuries for a boy of 15 years old from Nocatee. According to the sheriff’s office, the youngster was airlifted to a hospital on Monday after the collision.
Around four o’clock in the afternoon, near the intersection of Rialto Drive and Nocatee Village, the child was riding an electric dirt bike and failed to stop for a car, according to the deputies.
A helicopter was subsequently used to carry the adolescent to a hospital, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue. The adolescent was initially taken to Addison Park at Town Center.
During the time that everyone was waiting for first responders to come, Greg Webb, who was in his front yard when the accident occurred, stated that he quickly raced over to assist.

According to the authorities, the young youngster was wearing a helmet.
Currently, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is conducting an investigation into the collision.
In a little more than a month, this collision was the second event that occurred in the region that involved an electric bicycle.
After being engaged in a catastrophic accident while riding his electric bicycle on Race Track Road close to Julington Creek Plantation in April, a little child of twelve years of age required air transportation to a nearby trauma center.
During the previous week, the commissioners of St. Johns County reviewed a proposed ordinance regarding the safety of electric bicycles.
The most recent draft of the proposed ordinance was discussed by county authorities during the meeting. The commissioners, however, opted to turn the proposal into a resolution for further debate because they did not reach a decision regarding the matter.
