On Wednesday night, an incident near a park in the Englewood district of Chicago left three victims shot numerous times.
Just before 7 p.m., police were summoned to the 6500 block of South Throop in response to a complaint of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered three victims who had been shot several times close to Ogden Park.
The gang was standing on a sidewalk when a white Audi automobile drew up to them, according to the authorities. One suspect exited the car, fired several bullets, and then got back into the car, which was being driven by another suspect.
Police say a 32-year-old male was hit by gunfire several times, while a 25-year-old man was wounded in the buttocks and abdomen. According to authorities, both were sent to nearby hospitals in critical condition.
A 37-year-old male who was shot twice in the elbow, ribs, and buttocks was the third victim and was taken to the hospital in good health.
Numerous evidence markers were observed on the ground close to the shooting site, and authorities are still looking into the incident as of Wednesday night.
According to authorities, no suspects were in custody.
