Two Riders Dead After Crashing Stolen Motorcycle into Car on Roosevelt Blvd

A motorbike crash in Northeast Philadelphia has prompted an investigation.

On Wednesday, June 25, the collision occurred at the intersection of Comly Road and Roosevelt Boulevard.

Inspector D.F. Pace, chief of police in Philadelphia, said that two individuals were on a stolen motorcycle when it collided with another car.

According to Pace, police think the motorbike may have been moving quickly at the time of the collision.

While authorities conducted their investigation, the northbound lanes of Roosevelt Boulevard were blocked on Wednesday night.

Around 9:30 p.m., SkyForce10 was over the area where a number of police vehicles were obstructing the intersection near a filling station.

A dark-colored motorcycle was lying on its side close by, and a white automobile with damage to the front end was evident.

The area surrounding the gas station was marked with red and yellow police caution tape.
