Two-Year-Old Boy Struck by Two Cars in North Philadelphia Hit-and-Run Incident

The child, who was two years old at the time, was hit by two automobiles in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in North Philadelphia on Thursday night. According to the police, the child was able to escape with scratches and bruises to the head and face.

According to the police, the incident took place at the junction of 33rd and Susquehanna at approximately nine o’clock at night.

It was reported to the police that the family of the young child, who was two years old at the time, was in the process of getting him into their vehicle when he walked out into the street, where he was struck by two different automobiles.

In the beginning, the boy was struck by a blue SUV that was heading south on 33rd Street. The driver of the SUV then fled the scene. Almost immediately after that, a white truck that was also heading south on 33rd Street collided with the boy and then fled the scene.

In addition to having scratches and bruises on his head and face, the youngster was sent to CHOP, where he is currently described as being in stable condition, according to the police.

“So this two-year-old little boy is extremely fortunate because he was conscious and he is in stable condition, and right now he has scratches and bruises to his head and face,” said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. “He is in stable condition.”

An investigation is being conducted in the hopes of identifying the two drivers who were involved in the incident, which the police are investigating as a single hit-and-run involving two vehicles.
