While most children his age are mastering basic skills like recognizing colors and counting to 10, Zorien is already tackling advanced concepts like three-digit multiplication and fractions.
Zorien’s extraordinary intellect and skills have caught national attention, highlighting his exceptional journey as a profoundly gifted child whose talents extend far beyond typical early childhood milestones.
Rapid Development and Early Milestones
By the age of 2 years old, Zorien was spelling complex words such as “hippopotamus” and “alligator” and could count forward and backward to 100. Now, at just 4, he reads independently at a second- to third-grade level and is deeply engaged in solving math problems involving three-digit multiplication and fractions.
“He could pick up new concepts at lightning speed and retained them effortlessly. That’s when we realized we had a very unusual little boy on our hands,” said his parents, Md Naqib Alam Ansari and Monirupa Ananya.
Remarkable IQ Score and Prestigious Memberships
Zorien scored an astonishing 156 out of 160 on the WPPSI-IV Weschsler IQ test, placing him in the “profoundly gifted” category — a score that left his testing psychologist reportedly “visibly awestruck.” This score earned him acceptance into Mensa and Intertel, two elite societies that admit only individuals with exceptionally high IQ scores.
“We didn’t want his abilities to go unnoticed or for him to feel out of place. That’s when we turned to Mensa,” his parents explained. “Their resources, guidance, and community of like-minded families gave us a way to nurture his growing needs while also keeping him grounded and connected with peers.”

“Zorien is a multilingual math wiz,” American Mensa’s official Instagram account recently remarked, highlighting his extraordinary abilities.
Balancing Childhood and Intellectual Growth
Despite his early academic achievements, Zorien’s parents emphasize the importance of balance in his life. They encourage him to enjoy his childhood alongside his intellectual pursuits.
“We want to make sure Zorien enjoys being a child, plays, laughs, and grows emotionally alongside his intellectual journey,” said his father, Md Naqib Alam Ansari. Outside of academics, Zorien loves playing soccer, swimming, running, drawing, and painting.
His mother, Monirupa Ananya, added, “Our goal isn’t to push him but to give him the right environment. His journey, we hope, inspires other children and families to embrace curiosity and learning with joy.”
