A man was allegedly struck in the face with a knife by a woman in Wisconsin early on Monday morning. The incident allegedly occurred during an argument between the two individuals.
The Madison Police Department received a call at approximately 1:02 a.m. on June 16 from a man who claimed that he had been attacked with a knife at Peace Park. The man called the officer who was stationed in the 400 block of State Street.
Despite the fact that the man had a cut on his face and was treated by medical personnel, he was not transported to a hospital for further treatment. The man stated that he was having an argument with a woman in the park when she pulled out a knife and struck him in the face with it. This information was provided in the press release.
The woman, who has been identified as Erika Mason, was taken into custody and charged with battery, disorderly conduct while armed, and second-degree reckless endangerment. Additionally, she was charged with misdemeanor bail jumping.
