The name of the woman, 28, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident in South LA was made public by the Los Angeles on Friday.
Police say that Kelly Calderon died on April 8 at around midnight, when she was hit while riding her scooter near Figueroa Street and Colden Avenue. The driver is still not here.
A police report from Los Angeles says that Calderon was crossing Figueroa Street when the suspect hit her. A dark-coloured sedan, probably a Kia Optima or Kia K5, is said to be that suspect’s car.
The LAPD shared a video of the possible vehicle on the night of the crime.
The police said the hood, trunk, and passenger door on the right side of the car are damaged.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said the person was dead.
