Lanesboro, MN- A motorcycle accident occurred in Fillmore County early on Sunday morning, and the State Patrol arrived to the scene.
On Highway 16, approximately three miles south of Lanesboro, the event took place just before 11:20 in the morning, according to the preliminary report on the occurrence. According to the State Patrol, the motorcyclist was heading in a northerly direction at the time of the collision.
An investigation revealed that the motorcyclist was Kimberly Ann Karg, who was 44 years old and from Hutchinson. The Lanesboro Ambulance took her to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, where she was treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
According to the State Patrol, she was not wearing a helmet at the time on the scene.
